Chinese People Try Korean-Style Chinese Dishes Jajangmyeon (Black Bean Sauce Noodles) How do I open this? First thought.. doesn’t seem like it’ll sell well. Tastes bad… Tastes like medicine… It doesn’t really fit the Chinese taste palate heh This has a sweetness to it and it’s quite rich Too rich That’s probably why they put cucumbers on top Do they have pickled radishes in China too? Nope Isn’t this only in Korea? Try the onion Raw onion????? I’ll try it first What sauce is this? It’s black… My breath is gonna stink after this Can’t kiss my boyfriend after eating this But what’s really weird is that they eat raw onions with cooked onions Yeap Could you call this a Chinese dish? You can’t really call this a Chinese dish. It’s Korean food! Definitely Korean food, there’s nothing that tastes like this in China Who cares where it’s from, as long as it’s good Jjamppong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) What’s this This is seafood, right? This looks delicious even at first sight~ Is there anything like this in China? No Wow this is really good This is good These noodles are so good too!! They don’t break And there’s a ton of seafood But it’s really spicy so if you can’t eat spicy things, this isn’t for you – omg this is incredibly spicy
– Mhm Koreans are known for liking spicy foods Is this a Chinese dish or Korean dish? Of course it’s Korean~ China doesn’t have any noodles like this Just…this dish isn’t in China. First off, they don’t put seafood in noodles in China They don’t really have spicy noodles like this either This is Koreanized food They reinvented a noodle dish to fit Korean people’s tastes Tangsuyuk (Sweet and Sour Pork) What kind of sauce is that? It looks spicy What is this? Is it fried chicken? This is fascinating This is really interesting, the sauce is red Do you want to pour the sauce or dip the meat in the sauce? – I’m gonna pour it
– I’m gonna dip it I feel like it’ll turn to shit if you pour it on top lol Ok let’s try it Try pouring it and eat it, I wanna see See!! You’re dipping it in the sauce too If I didn’t know that was meat, I would have thought it was squid – It’s good
– I agree The sauce is sweet~ Whatever meat this is, it’s pretty good This fits pretty well with the Chinese taste palate Try pouring the sauce on top (O_O) Yeah this is how you said you were gonna eat it (omg…) It’s even better!!! Why don’t you try it like that too Nah, eating it like that just reminds me of hobos trying to eat conveniently Mixing it like this first There’s a lot of hobos in China Is this a Chinese dish or Korean dish? It has Chinese vibes… But it tastes Korean A Koreanized version~ Strictly speaking, you can’t call this a Chinese dish Chinese people don’t put vegetables around the sides of the plate And again, there are onions! What about people who don’t like onions?? How much would you pay for this? 5,000 won (5 bucks) Which dish out of the three seemed the most Chinese? None of them If I had to choose.. Tangsuyuk? Jjamppong…? The last meat dish seemed the most Chinese… Tangsuyuk~ This seems the most Chinese so far Is there something similar in China? Guobaorou~ But guobaorou tastes better hehe Chinese food tastes best in China obviously
