Bun Nippat Masala Recipe (Nippattu) | Bangalore Street Food | Karnataka Chaat | South Indian Dabeli

Hi guys. Welcome to my
channel Payal’s Recipe. Today I’m going to show you a very
interesting recipe that’s a popular street food in Bangalore and it’s called Bun
Nippat and it’s very delicious and easy and quick to make at home.
So let’s get started. The ingredients to make
Bun Nippat are: Bun and I have some Bangalore peanuts. These are the masala peanuts directly
from Bangalore and these are a little bit of spicy and tangy, some cilantro, chopped green chilies, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes. I have
some cilantro chutney, some tamarind chutney,
a pinch of chaat masala, some butter and Kala Namak
or the pink Himalayan salt. Now the first thing that I want to do
is take this bowl and add the onions. Next goes in the tomatoes, green chilies, cilantro, some Pink, Himalayan salt, Chaat masala. Okay, next goes in the cilantro chutney, a little bit of cilantro chutney, and a little bit of tamarind chutney and I’m going to mix everything together. Okay, so masala is now
ready. Now here’s a Bun, and on this Bun I’m going
to add some melted butter. Just spread some melted butter on this. Now after adding the butter, I’m
going to add the cilantro chutney. After adding the cilantro chutney,
next goes in the tamarind chutney. Now after adding all this, I’m
going to add the Bangalore peanuts. If you don’t have these peanuts, you can take any roasted
peanuts. Add a pinch of oil, some salt, some crushed curry leaves, red chilli powder and some masalas: chaat masala or anything that you want to. Now after I the peanuts, I’m going
to add this mixture that we just made and next goes in the sev. Now after adding the sev,
I’m going to just cover this and just lift it and I’m going
to place it on a platter. Here’s the Bun and now here’s our Bun. I’m
going to make some slices and one more. So we have four pieces
over here. To serve it, I’m going to spread some
more of this masala on top, some more cilantro, some peanuts, and I’m going to add a little
bit of tamarind chutney on top of this. And some cilantro chutney as well. And next goes in the sev. So our Bbun Nippat is now ready, and you can see it has these four pieces
over here that you can just grab and eat like a sandwich. I hope you enjoyed this simple
recipe, and if you did, do like share, comment, and subscribe to my channel
