Dadpe Pohe | Maharashtrian Poha Recipe | Quick and Easy Breakfast | Recipe by Archana in Marathi


Be it Morning breakfast or evening snacks. Also if it’s a marriage alliance meeting.. ..so then, ‘Kande Pohe’ (Popular Maharashtrian snack)
is a must be served dish. But it becomes boring to eat them
again and again. So, today I will show you all
another recipe of Poha (rice flakes). ‘Dadape Pohe’ First, take some finely chopped onion. Next, add salt to taste.. ..and add 1 tbsp of sugar, approximately. Finally, add a dash of lemon. Crush the onion using hands
so that it releases water. Take 3 to 4 green chillies. Next, add some coriander. Now, mix everything well. Keep it aside for 5 minutes. Meanwhile let’s prepare the tempering. Switch on the stove. Add 1 tbsp of oil. Add some mustard seeds once
the oil heats up. Oil is hot enough. Now, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds. Add 10 to 12 curry leaves. Finally, let’s add peanuts. Let’s stir these. Let the peanuts turn golden brown. Meanwhile… Take the Poha. You can take thick or thin Poha. You can avoid stickiness
if you opt for thick Poha. Whereas thin Poha will make it sticky. So, here I have taken thick Poha. Now, let’s sprinkle some water. Take little water at a time. Sprinkle the water and mix it slightly. Or else, coconut water
can also be used to sprinkle. This is mixed well. Peanuts have turned golden brown. Let’s add the peanuts to this mixture. Now, let’s mix them properly. Let’s add Poha sprinkled with water
to this mixture. Let’s mix it well. Poha has blended well
with the mixture. Now let’s take plate and serve them! Garnish the Poha with some grated coconut. And now some coriander. You will be definitely having Poha. Also, peanuts.. ..and coriander! I mean
everything required will be handy. So don’t waste even a minute! Make it quickly and let me know.

  3. It's, as you say easy and tasty snacks recipe. I think if you add grated coconut to the mix or at the end, dadpe pohe will be more tasty. Anyway, thanks for sharing the recipe for viewers.
