Hobo Dinner Foil Packet For Barbecue Or Campfire- Easy Camping Recipe

foil packet hobo dinner how to make foil packet meals hobo dinner foil packet Hi it’s AlaskaGranny today I’m gonna show
you how to make hobo dinner in a foil packet so light up your
barbecue or stoke up your campfire get a piece of foil and spray it now you want cut up your vegetables and make them bite sized pieces the bigger they are the longer it takes to cook put a pile of onion a pile of potatoes pile of carrots take your already
seasoned hamburger patty and lay right on top season it the way you want then I like to drizzle it with a little bit olive oil and an extra sprinkle garlic powder fold it all up I’ll probably cook this for 15 minutes
and then flip it over and continue to cook it
some more these take longer because anytime you
have big pieces meat or and things like potatoes and
carrots they’re gonna take longer these are
quite juicy so when I roll them over and put another piece of foil under it take capture the juices so just sit
around all over the barbecue opening and testing meat juices run clear so the meat is done and
vegetables are fork-tender which means my meal is done and I can remove it from
the barbecue or the the campfire whatever you
cooking it and it’s ready to serve how yummy does that look try hobo dinner in a packet with your
family on barbecue or campfire Please subscribe AlaskaGranny channel alaskagranny.com

  1. If ya do this on a campfire, just scrape some embers over the top of the package, that way, ya won't hafta turn the package over.

  2. Looks good…If I showed up to your camp with all my belongings tied to the end of a stick would I be welcome LOL?    :O)

  3. To answer what do I spray the sheets with, any brand of cooking spray such as Pam.  I buy whatever generic is on sale, as they all do the trick.

  4. Hi there Alaska granny. I am a new subscriber. I was intrigued by the simplicity of your meals. You just have a few ingredients foil and then you put it on the grill or use your volcano Grill. Because when I cook I don't like to add a lot of ingredients to the meal. So your channel it Is what I've been looking for. Keep up the good show. I enjoy it. Take care, Carrie.

  5. Hiya granny! Love your foil packet campfire meals. I've got plans for some foil meals for deer camp dinners next week here in Ohio. You'd be more than welcome to come give private cooking lessons here and I'm sure my guys would agree your easier on the eyes than our current camp chef (me). 😉
