Quick Breakfast Ideas for Valentine’s Day | Heart Shaped Pancakes 💗🥞 | Gluten-Free, Paleo Friendly

Since Valentine’s Day is right around
the corner I wanted to share with you a really cute way of making a
bed-and-breakfast semi-homemade using Simple Mills.
Simple Mills is my favorite brand and no I’m not sponsored just yet but I
absolutely love the products and I use them all the time. So all the ingredients
are naturally gluten free and it has almond flour in it and I’ll read the
ingredients that has almond flour arrowroot powder which is like a
thickener organic coconut sugar organic coconut flour cream of tartar baking
soda at sea salt but since this is a really special week we’re gonna actually
make some silverdollar pancakes and if you don’t know what those are they’re
little tiny pancakes that stack on top of each other and I’m gonna add some
really colorful fruit maple syrup on the top and oh it’s so good you can make
this for your friends your family your sniffing it other anyone that you just
want to show some love to and appreciation for if you want to see how
I make these silverdollar pancakes please continue to watch and make sure
you hit that subscribe button and the notification valve so your alert for
upcoming videos that I post every single week. Now let’s get cooking in the
kitchen for this recipe we are going to start
off with a box of Simple Mills pancake and waffle mix. feel free to use any
brand that you like I usually stay away from premium foods since they sneak in
unhealthy ingredients but simple meals this the one of the very few brands that
uses healthy organic ingredients so if you’re interested in trying out this
brand I provided a link down below in the description box to purchase the
exact one that I’m using next we’ll be using five eggs as instructed on
the box. Now I’ll be adding one thirds of a cup
of almond milk you can use any milk you prefer or just water I find that milk
makes the batter more flavorful and has a very silky finish to it. I am now
adding three tablespoons of melted coconut oil that I quickly microwave for
about 15 seconds. If you don’t have coconut oil you can use vegetable oil
too now we’ll be mixing the batter all together and make sure that you mix it
pretty well until you have a smooth consistency like this. To cook the pancakes you’ll need a
medium sized pan bring into a medium low heat and I added about tablespoon of
butter but you can use coconut oil too for a healthier option add about one
thirds of a cup of pancake batter and let it cook for a few minutes until you
start to see the size and middle of the pancake bubble then flip to the other
side to cook for a few minutes. Now here’s a slight twist I added to these
pancakes to make it more fun and special for Valentine’s Day I found a really
cute heart shaped cookie cutter at Williams Sonoma and it was only a few
bucks and I had an idea to cut out heart-shaped pancakes. There are tons of
heart-shaped cookie cutters out there in all various sizes so if you plan to get
one for this recipe know that you can get them pretty much anywhere great
thing is that you can also use these on cookies or brownies to you want to utilize as much of this
pancake so make sure to start on one side and before making a cutout look to
see how many you can make from one pancake
depending on the size I was able to make 2 to 3 heart-shaped cutouts. I listed a few links down below in the
description box of some of the ingredients I used in this recipe if
you’re interested in getting the exact same ones. Well I was really excited to show you
this recipe today I thought these were absolutely adorable and something that’s
creative and semi-homemade you didn’t really have too much except just by the
fruits and mix the batter so remember you don’t have to just make everything
from scratch there’s a lot of times where their brands I’m a really healthy
ingredients that you can mix up together and think of creative ways on how to
make your own twist I absolutely love this video because this really brings in
the creativity side of something you can buy from the store and put your own spin
on it just like I did today. If you liked watching this recipe please give this
video a thumbs up and comment down below Thank you for watching and I’ll see you
guys next time Clarissa’s Kitchen!
